Eye Wrinkle Prevention::5 Steps That Work
For eye wrinkle prevention, there are five steps that work. These
same steps can help people that are already starting to see some fine lines at the corners of
their eyes, too. In other words, this article is for everyone that wants to keep looking great, for as long
as possible.
1. Wear Sunglasses
Sunglasses help prevent crow’s feet and other wrinkles in two ways. First, if they include
a UV filter and they are large enough to cover the area around the eyes, they will help prevent the free radical
damage that is largely to blame for all of the signs of aging.
Secondly, they keep you from squinting. Habitual facial expressions may be one of the
underlying causes of wrinkles. Squinting is natural in bright sunlight. It helps to protect the inside
of the eyes from sun damage. Good sunglasses keep you from squinting, but still protect the eye’s interior
from damage. If you need a prescription, be sure to wear prescription sunglasses, too.
2. Eat Salmon and lots of Fruits and Vegetables
Salmon is a good source of omega-3 fatty acids. Research indicates that most people don’t
get enough omega-3s. A lack of them in the diet contributes to inflammation throughout the body.
Chronic inflammation is another of the underlying causes of skin aging.
Salmon, fruits, vegetables and other naturally colored foods contain numerous antioxidants.
Antioxidants are important in eye wrinkle prevention, because they neutralize free radical molecules, before they
can do any damage. The antioxidant content of the skin decreases with age and due to sun exposure. It
is important to keep the level as high as possible.
3. Take a Good Multi-vitamin & Some Omega 3 DHA Fish Oil
Supplements are something like insurance. We can forget to eat right sometimes and may not
always get all of the unique antioxidants that could be beneficial for eye wrinkle prevention.
Fish oil is an affordable alternative to a daily serving of salmon. In addition to helping
to keep the skin youthful looking, it may also help prevent heart disease.
4. Sleep on Your Back or Use an Anti-Wrinkle Pillow
Sleeping on your side causes wrinkling. If you cannot sleep on your back, you might
consider a special pillow for eye wrinkle prevention. The better ones were designed by doctors for patients
recovering from eye surgery.
5. Use a Good Anti-aging Serum
Using a good anti-aging serum, designed specifically for the area around the eyes is probably the
most important step of all and one of the easiest to remember on a regular basis. It becomes as automatic as
brushing your teeth and taking a shower.
Serums containing EYELISS, HALOXYL, COQ10, Brown Algae Extracts and Active Manuka
Honey will stimulate the production of new cells and thicken the skin’s layers, increase the skin’s
antioxidant content and prevent free radical damage, prevent bags and dark circles, while preventing and reversing
wrinkles.
It may be harder to find a serum that provides the best eye wrinkle
prevention. Most of what’s on the market is not that effective.
But here is one that works very well.
